It is often argued that education ought to be provided free of charge to all members of society. I largely agree with this view, particularly with regard to school and basic higher education, although I believe some contribution at advanced levels can be justified.
There are compelling reasons to make education free. First and foremost, education is a fundamental right and a powerful driver of social mobility. When schooling is free, talented students from low-income families are able to fulfil their potential rather than being held back by financial barriers. This benefits society as a whole, since a well-educated population tends to be more productive, healthier and more actively engaged as citizens. Countries that invest heavily in free public education, such as those in Scandinavia, consistently enjoy high living standards, which suggests that such spending pays long-term dividends.
That said, providing entirely free education at every level may not always be practical or fair. University degrees, for instance, bring substantial personal benefits in the form of higher salaries, so it is reasonable to expect graduates to contribute part of the cost, perhaps through income-based repayment schemes once they are earning. This approach ensures that limited public funds are not stretched too thinly and can be directed towards those who need support most.
In conclusion, while I firmly believe that education, especially at school level, should be free in order to guarantee equal opportunity, a modest and fair contribution towards advanced study can help keep the system sustainable. Overall, the principle of accessible education for all is one I strongly support.

Bộ từ này dùng được cho hầu hết đề giáo dục.
4. Grammatical Range
Đa dạng: bị động (“should be provided”, “being held back”), mệnh đề quan hệ (“which suggests that…”), câu điều kiện ngầm, cụm danh từ học thuật phức tạp (“a modest and fair contribution towards advanced study”).
