It is sometimes argued that artificial intelligence (AI) will eventually come to dominate the human race. While I acknowledge that unchecked AI could pose serious risks, I firmly believe that humanity will retain ultimate control, provided that appropriate safeguards are put in place.
Those who fear AI domination often point to the technology’s rapid and seemingly limitless progress. Modern systems can already outperform people in narrow tasks such as medical diagnosis, financial forecasting and language translation, and each new generation becomes markedly more capable. If machines were eventually able to set their own goals and improve themselves without human input, the argument runs, they might act in ways that are difficult to predict or reverse, potentially subordinating human interests to their own.
Despite these concerns, I would argue that such a scenario remains highly unlikely. AI, however sophisticated, is ultimately a tool created and programmed by people; it has no innate desires or consciousness of its own. The direction of its development, the data it is trained on and the limits placed upon it are all determined by human designers and, increasingly, by government regulation. Nations and corporations are already introducing ethical guidelines and safety mechanisms precisely to ensure that these systems remain accountable. As long as such oversight keeps pace with technological change, the idea of machines “taking over” belongs more to science fiction than to reality.
In conclusion, although the swift advance of AI understandably raises fears about the future, I do not believe it will dominate humanity. With responsible design and robust regulation, this powerful technology can be kept firmly under human control.

1. Task Response (trả lời đúng & sâu)
Bài nêu lập trường RÕ ngay ở mở bài: “I firmly believe that humanity will retain ultimate control” – và giữ vững xuyên suốt. Quan trọng hơn, nó KHÔNG viết một chiều: đoạn 2 trình bày công bằng quan điểm lo sợ AI (concession), đoạn 3 mới bác lại bằng lý lẽ của mình. Cách “nhượng bộ rồi phản biện” này thể hiện tư duy sâu – đúng điều giám khảo tìm ở band cao.
2. Coherence & Cohesion (mạch lạc)
Mỗi đoạn có một topic sentence rõ (“Those who fear AI domination often point to…”, “Despite these concerns, I would argue that…”). Từ nối được dùng ĐÚNG CHỨC NĂNG và không lạm dụng: Despite these concerns (tương phản), As long as (điều kiện), potentially, ultimately. Liên kết còn đến từ đại từ và cụm tham chiếu (“such a scenario”, “these systems”) thay vì lặp từ.
3. Lexical Resource (từ vựng)
Bài dùng nhiều collocation học thuật tự nhiên – đây là chỗ “ăn điểm”: pose serious risks, retain ultimate control, safeguards are put in place, rapid and seemingly limitless progress, outperform people in narrow tasks, subordinating human interests, innate desires, keep pace with, robust regulation. Chú ý: không phải từ “đao to búa lớn”, mà là từ ĐÚNG NGỮ CẢNH và đi thành cụm.
4. Grammatical Range (ngữ pháp)
Có sự đa dạng rõ: câu điều kiện loại 2 (“If machines were able to… they might act…”), mệnh đề quan hệ, cụm phân từ (“potentially subordinating…”), bị động (“are determined by human designers”), và mệnh đề nhượng bộ (“however sophisticated”). Đa dạng nhưng CHÍNH XÁC – không “khoe” cấu trúc rồi sai.
Với mọi đề Opinion: Mở bài = paraphrase đề + nêu rõ lập trường. Body 1 = trình bày công bằng phía đối lập (concession). Body 2 = lý lẽ CỦA BẠN, mạnh và có ví dụ. Kết bài = khẳng định lại. Chính cấu trúc “concession + rebuttal” này tạo chiều sâu.
